I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice office in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. I have extensive experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. In addition to my private practice, I am a Staff Psychologist at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy in Brookline, MA and Director of Psychosocial Disaster Operations at the Harvard Disaster Medicine/Emergency Management Fellowship in Boston, MA.  With over 10 year of professional mental health experience, I have worked with diverse clients, addressing a wide range of concerns. As a psychotherapist I have worked in hospitals, clinics, schools and community-based setting in New York, Boston and East Africa. I am trained in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and family systems approaches to therapy. I have been especially effective in working with trauma survivors, in addition to clients coping with common psychological problems such as depression and anxiety.

In addition to clinical work, I have consulted for international organizations in developing and humanitarian contexts throughout the world, providing assessment, training and program development in areas of child and adult health, community and gender-based violence, and public health.

I believe in the resiliency of people, and it continues to be my pleasure to support individuals, couples, families and communities in enhancing their healthy and achieving their goals.
